§ 7-11-305. Availability Of Petition Or Recommendation And Service Plan
Availability of petition or recommendation and service plan. (1) Sufficient copies of the petition or recommendation of the interlocal cooperation commission proposing a service consolidation or transfer and the service plan must be made available to the public for inspection at convenient locations and at reasonable hours to provide all interested persons an opportunity to review the recommendations and documents. The copies must be available no later than 30 days prior to an election on the proposal if an election is to be held. If the election is held, it must be held in conjunction with a regular or primary election. (2) Each local government affected by the proposal may distribute copies of the service plan to its residents.
