§ 50-19-303. Definitions
Definitions. For purposes of this part, the following definitions apply: (1) "Department" means the department of public health and human services provided for in 2-15-2201 . (2) "Low income" means, with respect to an individual or family, income that does not exceed the official federal poverty threshold as defined by the federal office of management and budget and revised annually in accordance with section 673(2) of the Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act of 1981. (3) "Project" means the MIAMI project established in 50-19-311 . (4) "Service provider" means a person, agency, or organization that has a contract to provide services under the MIAMI project.
