§ 20-26-614. Montana Stem Scholarship Program
Montana STEM scholarship program. (1) There is a Montana STEM scholarship program. The program is administered by the board through the office of the commissioner of higher education. (2) The purpose of the Montana STEM scholarship program is to provide an incentive for Montana high school students to prepare for, enter into, and complete degrees in postsecondary fields related to science, technology, engineering, mathematics, and health care, with the goals of increasing the number of STEM degree recipients participating in Montana's workforce and satisfying current and anticipated economic and workforce development needs in Montana. (3) The board shall adopt policies and procedures for the administration of the Montana STEM scholarship program consistent with this part.
