§ 2-15-2206. Office Of Aging
Office of aging. (1) There is an office of aging, headed by a coordinator of aging. The office is in the department of public health and human services. (2) The governor shall appoint an advisory council on aging. The council is composed of 11 members, a majority of whom must be 60 years of age or older. Members shall serve staggered 3-year terms and until their successors are appointed. Vacancies must be filled by appointment for the unexpired term. The council is allocated to the department of public health and human services for administrative purposes only.
