§ 19-1-301. Authorization Of Referendum By Governor
Authorization of referendum by governor. With respect to members of the public employees', highway patrol officers', judges', and game wardens' and peace officers' retirement systems, the governor is empowered to authorize a referendum, and with respect to the employees of any political subdivision, the governor shall authorize a referendum upon the request of the governing body of the subdivision.
