§ 195.820. Medical cannabis, processing fee authorized, when.

The department of health and senior services may establish through rule promulgation an administration and processing fee, exclusive of any application or license fee established under Article XIV of the Missouri Constitution, if the funds in the Missouri veterans' health and care fund are insufficient to provide for the department's administration of the provisions of Article XIV.  Such fees shall be deposited in the Missouri veterans' health and care fund for use solely for the administration of the department's duties under Article XIV.  Such administration and processing fee shall not be increased more than once during a one-year period, but may be set to increase or decrease each year by the percentage of increase or decrease from the end of the previous calendar year of the Consumer Price Index, or successor index as published by the U.S. Department of Labor, or its successor agency.
