§ 75-31-511. Liability for failure to pay as provided.
A milk processor who fails to pay for raw milk as provided by this article shall be liable to the dairy farmer for: The purchase price of the raw milk; Interest on the purchase price at the highest legal rate from the date possession is transferred until the date the payment is made in accordance with this article; and A reasonable attorney’s fee for the collection of the payment.
