§ 73-5-35. Barber school licenses; fees [Repealed effective July 1, 2020].
All barber schools operated in this state shall pay an annual license fee of One Hundred Dollars ($100.00) and the same fee shall be required for renewal of the license to each such school on July 1 of each year. A fee of not more than Twenty-five Dollars ($25.00) shall be required for restoration of an expired license that has been expired for a period of at least thirty (30) days of the renewal date. The license to operate those schools shall be issued by the Board of Barber Examiners after approval by the board. This license shall not be transferable for any cause and must be renewed annually. All barber schools operated in this state shall be under the direct supervision of a registered barber instructor at all times.
