§ 73-13-25. Application for registration; fees.
Applications for enrollment as an engineer intern or for licensure as a professional engineer shall be on the forms prescribed and furnished by the board, shall contain statements made under oath, showing the applicant’s education and detailed summary of the applicant’s qualifying experience. Applications for licensure or relicensure as a professional engineer shall also contain not less than five (5) references, of whom three (3) or more shall be engineers having personal knowledge of the applicant’s engineering experience. The application fee for licensure as a professional engineer shall be determined by the board but shall not exceed Seventy-five Dollars ($75.00), which fee shall accompany the application. The application fee for enrollment as an engineer intern shall be determined by the board but shall not exceed Twenty-five Dollars ($25.00), which fee shall accompany the application. Whenever an applicant is cited to an examination or reexamination, an additional fee equal to the actual cost of the examination shall be paid by the applicant. Each application or filing made under this section shall include the social security number(s) of the applicant in accordance with Section 93-11-64, Mississippi Code of 1972.
