§ 69-29-115. Rules and regulations.
The Department of Agriculture and Commerce shall have authority to promulgate such rules and regulations as are reasonably necessary to carry out the intent and purpose of this article and that shall facilitate the tracing and identification of livestock and afford protection against stealing and unlawful dealing in livestock. Any driver moving livestock from any advertised sale shall have a bill of sale or other written evidence of purchase for the livestock in his possession, to be shown on request of any duly authorized law enforcement officer and to be delivered to the purchaser with delivery of the livestock.
