§ 65-26-3. Definitions.

For purposes of this chapter, the following words and terms shall have the meanings ascribed herein unless the context shall otherwise require: “General obligation bonds” shall mean bonds of the State of Mississippi, to the repayment of which, both as to principal and interest, the full faith, credit and taxing power of the State of Mississippi are irrevocably pledged until the principal and interest are paid in full. “Highway Commission” shall mean the State Highway Commission. “Bond commission” shall mean the state bond commission. “Corps of Engineers” shall mean the United States Army Corps of Engineers. “Bridge construction fund” shall mean the Tennessee-Tombigbee Waterway bridge construction fund as created by Section 65-26-25. “Bond retirement fund” shall mean the Tennessee-Tombigbee Waterway bridge bond retirement fund created by Section 65-26-9.
