§ 53-9-29. Reclamation plan included in application; contents.

The reclamation plan shall include in the degree of detail as the commission may require by regulation: An identification of lands subject to surface coal mining operations over the estimated life of those operations; Information about the condition and variety of uses of the land at the time of the application and the proposed uses of the land after reclamation; A description of how reclamation is to be achieved, including a schedule of and timetable for significant reclamation activities; An estimate of reclamation costs; The steps to be taken to comply with applicable air and water quality standards, health and safety standards and performance standards applicable to reclamation adopted under this chapter; and Any other information consistent with the federal act as the permit board or commission may require to demonstrate that the reclamation required by this chapter can be accomplished.
