§ 51-29-1. Scope of chapter.
This chapter shall govern the future operation of all drainage districts heretofore organized or now in process of organization under the provisions of Chapter 195 of the Laws of 1912 and amendments thereto, and such other districts as may hereafter be organized under the provisions of this chapter, or which may elect to come within its provisions in the manner herein provided. All of the provisions of Chapters 31 and 33 of this title which are not contained in this chapter, and which do not conflict with any of the provisions of this chapter, shall apply to any districts organized or operating hereunder.
