§ 17-17-343. Exemption from taxation.
The exercise of the powers granted by Sections 17-17-301 through 17-17-349 will be in all respects for the benefit of the people of the state, for their well-being and prosperity and for the improvement of their social and economic conditions, and the authority shall not be required to pay any tax or assessment on any property owned by the authority or upon the income therefrom. Any bonds issued by the authority under the provisions of Sections 17-17-301 through 17-17-349, their transfer and the income therefrom shall at all time be free from taxation by the state or any unit of local government or other instrumentality of the state, except for inheritance and gift taxes.
