§ 388.681. Reorganization of school districts; definitions.
As used in this act:
"Reorganization of school districts" means the formation of new school districts, the alteration of boundaries of established school districts, and the dissolution or disorganization of established school districts through or by means of any one or combination of the methods as set forth in this act.
"State committee" means the state committee for the reorganization of school districts created in this act.
"Intermediate committee" means the committee for the reorganization of school districts created in this act.
"Plan of reorganization" means a concrete proposal for readjustment and realignment of the boundaries of school districts within an intermediate school district area.
"Non-high school district" means a school district presently operating less than a kindergarten through twelfth grade program.
"School code" means Act No. 269 of the Public Acts of 1955, as amended, being sections 340.1 to 340.984 of the Compiled Laws of 1948.
