§ 333.20956. Provision of life support; limitation; authorized techniques.

Sec. 20956.(1)

A medical first responder, an emergency medical technician, an emergency medical technician specialist, or a paramedic shall not provide life support at a level that is inconsistent with his or her education, licensure, and approved medical control authority protocols.

(2)

A medical first responder, emergency medical technician, emergency medical technician specialist, or paramedic may perform techniques required in implementing a field study authorized under section 20910(1)(h) if he or she receives training for the skill, technique, procedure, or equipment involved in the field study.
