The resolution authorizing the issuance of highway bonds under the provisions of this act may provide that a specified number of holders of such bonds, or any of the coupons appertaining thereto, either at law or in equity, by suit, action, mandamus or other proceedings, may protect and enforce any and all rights under the laws of the state or granted hereunder or under the resolution or resolutions authorizing the issuance of such bonds, and may enforce and compel the performance of all duties required by this act or by such resolution to be performed by the secretary of transportation or by any officer thereof or of the state, including the application of moneys in the state freeway fund to the payment of the principal, interest and redemption premiums on bonds issued under this act.History: L. 1972, ch. 252, § 7; L. 1975, ch. 427, § 231; August 15.
