§ 354.3. 354.3 Covenant of warranty.
1. The duty to file for record a plat as provided in sections 354.4 and 354.6 attaches as a covenant of warranty in all conveyances by a grantor who divides land against all assessments, costs, and damages paid, lost, or incurred by a grantee or person claiming under a grantee, in consequence of the omission on the part of the grantor to file the plat.
