§ 36-8-6-15. Ineligibility of certain employees for pension plan

Sec. 15. A pension may not be paid to an employee of the police department who at the time of the employee's appointment was thirty-six (36) years of age or older, or who failed at that time to pass the medical examination required by the board. However, such a person is exempt from paying or contributing to the 1925 fund.
