§ 35-43-4-3.3. Concealing a valuable metal purchase

Sec. 3.3. (a) The following definitions apply throughout this section:

(1) "Purchase" has the meaning set forth in IC 25-37.5-1-1.

(2) "Valuable metal" has the meaning set forth in IC 25-37.5-1-1.

(3) "Valuable metal dealer" has the meaning set forth in IC 25-37.5-1-1.

(b) A valuable metal dealer who:

(1) knowingly or intentionally fails to comply with IC 25-37.5-1; and

(2) purchases stolen valuable metal;

commits concealing a valuable metal purchase, a Level 6 felony.
