IC 22-4-25.5-1"Fund" Sec. 1. As used in this chapter, "fund" means the unemployment insurance modernization fund established by section 2 of this chapter.

IC 22-4-25.5-2Establishment; purpose Sec. 2. (a) The unemployment insurance modernization fund is established for the purpose of modernizing and maintaining the unemployment insurance system.

(b) The money in the fund is available to the department for the modernization of the unemployment insurance system.

IC 22-4-25.5-3Source of funds Sec. 3. The fund consists of the following:

(1) Money transferred from the special employment and training services fund under IC 22-4-25-1.

(2) Appropriations made by the general assembly.

(3) Grants and gifts of money.

IC 22-4-25.5-5Reversion Sec. 5. Money in the fund at the end of a state fiscal year does not revert to the state general fund.

IC 22-4-25.5-6Expenditures report Sec. 6. On or before October 1 of each year, the department shall submit a report to the budget committee detailing the expenditures made from the fund during the previous state fiscal year.
