§ 8-7.

Assessment of annexed lands. Lands annexed to a district shall be subject to assessment for their just proportion of the cost of any work done or to be done by the district. The lands so annexed shall be assessed with the other lands in the district unless the assessment of the lands previously in the district has already been made, in which event the lands so annexed shall be assessed in like proceedings and with a like right of appeal.
