§ 6-4-11.

Board of local improvements. In any city or village adopting the strong mayor form of municipal government, if such city or village has heretofore adopted or hereafter adopts Division 2 of Article 9, the council shall by ordinance provide that the board of local improvements be composed of the mayor and not less than 2 nor more than 4 members appointed by the mayor, which board shall have all powers conferred and all duties imposed by Division 2 of Article 9. Such members may be appointed from persons holding other offices or positions in the government of the city or village. (Source: P.A. 76-746.)
