Emergency rulemaking; Medicaid reimbursement rates for hospital inpatient and outpatient services. To provide for the expeditious and timely implementation of the changes made by this amendatory Act of the 104th General Assembly to Sections 5A-2, 5A-7, 5A-8, 5A-10, and 5A-12.7 of the Illinois Public Aid Code, emergency rules implementing the changes made by this amendatory Act of the 104th General Assembly to Sections 5A-2, 5A-7, 5A-8, 5A-10, and 5A-12.7 of the Illinois Public Aid Code may be adopted in accordance with Section 5-45 by the Department of Healthcare and Family Services. The adoption of emergency rules authorized by Section 5-45 and this Section is deemed necessary for the public interest, safety, and welfare. This Section is repealed one year after the effective date of this amendatory Act of the 104th General Assembly. (Source: P.A. 104-7, eff. 6-16-25.) The adoption of emergency rules authorized by Section 5-45 and this Section is deemed to be necessary for the public interest, safety, and welfare. To provide for the expeditious and timely implementation of this amendatory Act of the 104th General Assembly, emergency rules implementing the changes made to the Wildlife Code by this amendatory Act of the 104th General Assembly may be adopted in accordance with Section 5-45 by the Department of Natural Resources. The adoption of emergency rules authorized by Section 5-45 and this Section is deemed to be necessary for the public interest, safety, and welfare. To provide for the expeditious and timely implementation of Section 40 of the School Safety Drill Act, emergency rules implementing Section 40 of the School Safety Drill Act may be adopted in accordance with Section 5-45 by the State Board of Education, in consultation with the Illinois State Police. The adoption of emergency rules authorized by Section 5-45 and this Section is deemed to be necessary for the public interest, safety, and welfare.
