§ 4b.

Coordinating Committee. There is created a Coordinating Committee of State agencies involved with tourism in the State of Illinois. The Committee shall consist of the Director of Commerce and Economic Opportunity as chairman, the Lieutenant Governor, the Secretary of Transportation or his or her designee, and the head executive officer or his or her designee of the following: the Lincoln Presidential Library; the Department of Natural Resources; the Department of Agriculture; the Illinois Arts Council; the Illinois Community College Board; and the Board of Higher Education. The Committee shall also include 4 members of the Illinois General Assembly, one of whom shall be named by the Speaker of the House of Representatives, one of whom shall be named by the Minority Leader of the House of Representatives, one of whom who shall be named by the President of the Senate, and one of whom shall be named by the Minority Leader of the Senate. The Committee shall meet at least quarterly and at other times as called by the chair. The Committee shall coordinate the promotion and development of tourism activities throughout State government.
