§ 20.1.
Summary suspension. The Secretary may summarily suspend the license of a nursing home administrator without a hearing, simultaneously with the institution of proceedings for a hearing provided under this Act if the Secretary finds that evidence in his or her possession indicates that a licensee's continuation in practice would constitute an immediate danger to the public. If the Secretary summarily suspends the license without a hearing, a hearing shall be held within 30 calendar days after the suspension has occurred. (Source: P.A. 100-675, eff. 8-3-18.)
