§ 2-5.
Definitions. In this Article: "Authority" means the Authority as defined in the Article creating the Authority, except that in the case of provisions incorporated by reference into Article 25, in the context of that incorporation by reference "Authority" means the Committee as defined in Article 25. "Governmental agency" means the federal government, the State, any unit of local government or school district, and any agency or instrumentality thereof. "Person" means any individual, firm, partnership, corporation, company, association or joint stock association; and includes any trustee, receiver, assignee or personal representative thereof. "Board" means the governing and administrative body of the Authority as defined in the Article creating the Authority, except that in the case of provisions incorporated by reference into Article 25, in the context of that incorporation by reference "Board" means the Committee as defined in Article 25. "Metropolitan area", for an Authority created under this Act, means the metropolitan area for the Authority as defined in the Article creating the Authority. (Source: P.A. 90-328, eff. 1-1-98.)
