§ 160.

Emancipation Proclamation Week. The first full week of January of each year is designated as Emancipation Proclamation Week, to be observed throughout the State as a week for holding appropriate educational and celebratory events and observances in the public schools and elsewhere to honor and remember the work of Abraham Lincoln and others in emancipating Americans from slavery and in leading to the end of slavery in America.
