§ 15-165.

Subpoenas; oaths. The Department shall have the power to subpoena and bring before it any person and to take testimony either orally or by deposition, or both, with the same fees and mileage and in the same manner as prescribed by law in judicial proceedings in civil cases in courts in this State. The Secretary or the hearing officer shall each have the power to administer oaths to witnesses at any hearings that the Department is authorized to conduct. (Source: P.A. 101-27, eff. 6-25-19.)
