§ 11a.
Illinois Center for Rehabilitation and Education-Wood. The Department shall operate and maintain the Illinois Center for Rehabilitation and Education-Wood for the education of individuals who are blind, visually impaired, or DeafBlind and are seeking competitive integrated employment. Individuals who are blind, visually impaired, or DeafBlind seeking services through the Illinois Center for Rehabilitation and Education-Wood must meet all requirements set forth in 89 Ill. Adm. Code 730. The Department may avail itself of the services of other public or private agencies in determining eligibility for admission to or discharge from the Illinois Center for Rehabilitation and Education-Wood. The Department may call upon other agencies of the State for such services as they are equipped to render in the education of individuals who are blind, visually impaired, or DeafBlind seeking competitive integrated employment, and such agencies are instructed to render those services which are consistent with their legal and administrative responsibilities.
