§ 3-3-1.5.
Director of Victim and Witness Services. (a) There is established a Director of Victim and Witness Services under the jurisdiction of the Prisoner Review Board. The Victim and Witness Services Director shall be hired by the Prisoner Review Board. The Victim and Witness Services Director shall be responsible for ensuring that victims receive appropriate notice and the opportunity to provide a victim impact statement in accordance with this Act. The Victim and Witness Services Director shall also be responsible for coordinating with other agencies to improve victim notification processes, and identifying ways to better serve victims.
