§ 10-2.1-13.

Notice of examination. Notice of the time and place of every examination shall be given by the board by a publication at least 2 weeks preceding the examination, in one or more newspapers published in the municipality, or, if no newspaper is published therein, then in one or more newspapers with a general circulation within the municipality, except on promotional examinations, notice may be waived in writing by all members of the fire or police department, for which the promotional examination is to be given.
