§ 9402. Cultural and Sports Ambassadors Fund,
Established.
(a) There is hereby created, separate and apart from all other
funds, the Guam Visitors Bureau ‘Cultural and Sports
Ambassadors Fund’ (hereinafter referred to as Fund). The Guam
Visitors Bureau is hereby authorized to use Fund proceeds to
provide grants for transportation expenses for off-island travel by
cultural and sports ambassadors. Deposits into the Fund shall not
be commingled with deposits received from the Tourist
Attraction Fund for the operations, special projects, and any
other appropriations made to the Guam Visitors Bureau, and
shall be kept in a separate bank account. The bank account shall

be established and maintained by the Guam Visitors Bureau, and
its funds shall only be available for use as stipulated herein.
(b) Financial contributions may also be made to the Fund by
participating businesses and organizations, as sponsors of
cultural and sports ambassadors.
(c) Any unexpended balance of the Cultural and Sports
Ambassadors Fund shall not revert to the Tourist Attraction
Fund or any other fund, and shall be available until fully
expended for the purposes described herein.
