§ 78102. Definitions.
Unless the context otherwise requires, the definitions set forth herein
and in Chapter 77 of this Title shall govern the construction and
interpretation of this Chapter.
(a) Employee means an officer or employee of the Guam Police
Department, including the Chief of Police, the Deputy Chief of Police
and the Police Commander.
(b) Hearing means any meeting in the course of an investigatory
proceeding, other than a preliminary conference or interview at which
no testimony is taken under oath, conducted by an investigating
committee for the purpose of taking or adducing testimony or
receiving other evidence. A hearing may be open to the public or
closed to the public in accordance with all applicable laws of Guam.
