§ 65406. Public Hearing.

No contract may be cancelled until after the Department has

given notice of, and has held, a public hearing on the matter.

Notice of the hearing shall be published in a newspaper of general

circulation for ten days prior to such hearing, and shall be mailed

to each and every owner of land under contract, and any portion

of which is situated within the same agricultural preserve and

within one mile of the exterior boundary of the land upon which

the contract is proposed to be cancelled.
