§ 6404. Same: Delivery of Truant.

The attendance officer, upon taking a truant into custody, shall deliver the truant promptly either to

the truant’s parent or to the school which the pupil attends. If the child is a habitual truant, the attendance

officer, with the concurrence of the principal of the pupil’s school, shall bring the child before the Family

Court.
