§ 61411. Transfer/Sale of Livestock.
Any person who purchases or acquires livestock must brand
such animals no later than 30 calendar days after acquisition.
Previously branded animals not intended for slaughter within 30
calendar days of acquisition must be reregistered with the
Department. An affidavit of livestock transfer indicating the
transaction will be issued to the buyer. All brands must be
registered with the Department.
