§ 61407. Denial of Registration.
The Department shall deny the registration of any brand
which is identical to any brand previously registered, or which is
easily altered from the brand of another. No brand shall be
registered which is formed by representation of any letter, number
or figure which has been previously registered, or which is a solid
brand, or which is described as being on either side of an animal,

or composed of single letters or figures, or of more than three
letters or figures. The location of the brand on the animal shall be
considered as part of the brand, and no brand shall be registered
which does not describe such location.
