§ 60317. Manner of Recording.
The recorder shall record by legible handwriting, by
typewriting, or by photographic reproduction process. A system
of microphotography may be used by the recorder as a
photographic reproduction process to record some or all
instruments, papers and notices that are required or permitted by
law to be recorded. All film used in the microphotography process
shall comply with the minimum standards of quality approved by
the United States Bureau of Standards. The original copy of the
microfilm shall be kept in a safe and separate place for security
purposes. A true copy of such film shall be arranged in a suitable
place in the office of the recorder to facilitate public inspection.
