§ 53122. Imminent Hazards.

Guam EPA may, upon learning that a contaminant is present

in or is likely to enter a public water system and may present a

potential imminent and substantial danger to the public, take

actions necessary to protect the health of the public. The actions

which Guam EPA may take include, but are not limited to:

(a) issuing such orders as may be necessary to protect

the health of persons who are or may be users of such

systems (including travelers); and

(b) requesting that the Attorney General of Guam

commence a civil or criminal action for appropriate relief,

including a restraining order or permanent or temporary

injunction.
