§ 4216. Abatement.
In the event of the death of the petitioner, the proceeding shall
abate and the petition for adoption shall be dismissed, but where
there are two petitioners and one of the petitioners dies, the
proceeding shall continue uninterrupted as if the death had not
occurred.
