§ 41308. Establishment of Division of Support Services for
Individuals with Disabilities Council (DSSIDC).
(a) There is established an advisory council entitled "Division
of Support Services for Individuals with Disabilities Council"
(DSSIDC) to be composed of fifteen (15) members to be appointed
by the Governor. Eight (8) members shall be appointed for two (2)
year terms, and seven (7) members shall be appointed for four (4)
years. No member shall serve more than two (2) consecutive terms.
All members shall serve, in addition to their regular term, until their
successors are appointed. Members of the DSSIDC will be
appointed within sixty (60) days of enactment of this Act.
(b) The terms of the appointment and the terms of the
members shall be rotated so that no more than three (3) members'
terms shall expire each year.

(c) Any vacancy in the membership of the Council shall be
filled for the period of the unexpired term in the same manner as
was the original appointment.
(d) Council members shall serve without compensation;
except that each member shall be paid a per diem of Fifty Dollars
($50.00) for each day of attendance at a meeting of the Council,
such compensation not to exceed One Hundred Dollars ($100.00)
per month.
