§ 4123. Development of Personnel Rules and Regulations for Peace Officers of the Judicial Branch.
(a) The Judicial Council and the Peace Officer Standards and Training Commission (POST) shall
jointly develop personnel rules and regulations for all peace officer positions within the Superior Court of
Guam, consistent with the provisions of Title 4 of the Guam Code Annotated.
(b) The Chief Justice and the POST shall jointly develop personnel rules and regulations for all peace
officer positions within the Supreme Court of Guam consistent with the provisions of Title 4 of the Guam
Code Annotated. Such personnel rules and regulations shall apply only to peace officers, and shall be so
construed to reflect the moral and ethical standards and conduct expected of peace officer both on and off
duty.
(c) The Judicial Branch shall implement such personnel rules and regulations for its peace officer
positions.
(d) “Peace officers” for purposes of this Section are those defined in § 51101(b) of Title 17 of the
Guam Code Annotated.
