§ 34110. Immediate Menace.

It shall be lawful for any officer, if there are no other readily

available means of bringing the pet under control, to kill any pet

that constitutes an immediate menace to any person. The officer

shall turn the carcass of the pet over to the Department as soon

as possible for examination as determined by the Director, and

compile a written report and submit to the Director describing

the event leading to the killing if said pet was licensed.
