§ 30. Spousal Privileges Inapplicable in Criminal Proceedings Involving Family Violence.
Notwithstanding any other provision of law, the following evidentiary privileges do not apply in any
criminal proceeding in which a spouse or other family or household member is the victim of an alleged
crime involving family violence:

(a) the privilege not to testify against one’s spouse;
(b) the privilege for confidential marital communication; and
(c) the physician-patient privilege.
