§ 10203. Definitions.
(a) Agency means the Guam Department of Labor, Division
of Apprenticeship.
(b) Department means the U.S. Department of Labor,
Employment and Training Administration, Office of
Apprenticeship.
(c) Director means the Director, Guam Department of Labor.
(d) Apprentice means a worker at least sixteen (16) years of
age, except where a higher minimum age standard is otherwise
fixed by law, who is employed to learn an apprenticeable
occupation.
(e) Apprenticeship agreement means a written agreement
between an apprentice and either the apprentice’s program
sponsor, or an apprenticeship committee acting as an agent for the
program sponsor(s), which contains the terms and conditions of
the employment and training of the apprentice.
