§ 46. Tampering with Vehicle Identification Number or Other Vehicle Identifiers.
A person commits a felony if he or she knowingly destroys, removes or conceals, or attempts to
destroy, remove or conceal, any Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) or other vehicle identifiers with intent
to deceive or injure anyone or to conceal any wrongdoing including littering violations.
