§ 9127. Voter’s Change of Name.
If the full name or surname of any person desiring to vote has been legally changed since that person
registered, that person shall report both his or her name as it was before the change, and his or her name as
it is at the time of the election; provided, that the person presents to the precinct officials a legal document
or other satisfactory written proof of the name change. The precinct board shall thereupon make the
necessary adjustment in the register, indicating the reason for the change therein, and thereafter permit the
person to vote.
