§ 8303. Taking or Destroying Ballots.
Any person who carries away or destroys, or attempts to carry away or
destroy, any poll list or ballot, or ballot box for the purpose of preventing,
affecting the result of, or invalidating any election, or willfully detains,
mutilates or destroys any election return, is guilty of a felony.
