§ 5311. Maintenance of Substandard Dwellings.

Upon acquisition of title of real property upon which substandard

dwellings are constructed, the Authority shall take such steps as are

necessary to protect the health and safety of persons living in the

immediate vicinity of said dwellings and to this end, the Authority may

cause such dwellings to be razed or rehabilitated. The Authority may

temporarily convert such real property into parks, devote it to some other

public use or utilize it for low-rent public housing after appropriate

rehabilitation.
